Project Overview

The Department for International Development has been supporting financial management reform in the Government of Bangladesh through a five-year, £25million programme, co-financed by DFID and the Royal Netherlands Government.  One of the key components of the programme is to enhance Financial management Information systems infrastructure, software and support systems to support public financial management initiatives across Government of Bangladesh and  (improve the effectiveness of (i) the medium term planning and resource allocation and (ii) the performance monitoring and evaluation process. TSCPL provided technical support and advice on

Implementation and Annual Review of progress of the programme, review of other relevant documentation, and liaison with key project personnel and other relevant interlocutors, review progress of Business Process Reengineering programmes and Capacity Building Initiatives under the programme with recommendations to improve effectiveness of these.
