ERP audit and Process Improvement

Project Overview

Dharampal Premchand Co. is an international group engaged in the business of tobacco, steel, hospitality and other ventures. The group is expanding rapidly and needs an IT solution that meets its diverse business interests and MIS needs and ably assist in decision making. TSCPL was asked to conduct the ERP Audit of the software since the company was experiencing problems in the financial accounting and recommend corrective actions.  TSCPL conducted an ERP audit of the home grown ERP, which was behaving erratically. The implemented software was tested rigorously to ensure compliance with business processes and functionalities. The systems were tested for data authenticity across the organization, safety and stabilisation of ERP, data integrity and performance. TSCPL also audited the ERP process at each of the department and identified corrective actions and improvements required in the business process, software system and user manuals. A detailed “take action” list to help mitigate the risks identified during the audit was also provided to the company.
